Service Manager - Children's and Young People’s Teams
This is a rare opportunity for a Service Manager in our Children and Young People’s Teams in an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ authority. Leading and driving best practice and outcomes for children and their families, we are ambitious for our families and our workforce are key to achieving these ambitions.
You will lead teams to deliver a service where children feel safe, are listened to, and receive a timely, creative and individual response. You will be focused on outcomes for children and young people; ensuring that intervention in children’s lives are meaningful and proportionate.
With a strong connection to teams and practice, you will be responsible for driving our culture of learning and development within your service, promoting an environment where practice flourishes.
Reporting to the Head of Service you will be a critical part of our strong and stable management team. You will be an experienced social work manager with substantial experience in the field of managing child in need, child protection and public law court proceedings. You will have a strong interest in developing and constantly improving services.
We are looking for an experienced manager with a proven track record in managing employees, budgets and performance. You will have a strong understanding of what best practice looks like and working in partnership to achieve this.
We will provide you with a comprehensive induction programme, dedicated supervision and a commitment to your learning and development, with a robust Continuous Professional Development programme through our Practice Development Hub.
