We are looking for an individual who can help lead their team and support us to continue on our development journey.
As a Service Manager within Early Help you will have overall responsibility for the team leadership, mentoring and staff supervision of the Family Group Conferencing Service, Immediate Response and Targeted Intervention Teams. You will be responsible for the delivery of an effective service, working closely with multi agency partners to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

This role will require you to be suitably qualified (DIPSW/CQSW/Masters/Degree in Social work) and preferably have supervisory or management experience as well as being able to evidence skills and knowledge in line with the job specification. We will also expect a passion for working with children and achieving the best outcomes and achieve stability and permanence whilst promoting life long links with their family.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C1: Can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly. Only a conceptually difficult subject can hinder a natural, smooth flow of language.
