Salary: Up to £38,296 per annum pro rata
Vacancy Hours: 18.5 hours per week, permanent
Location: East - We very much promote flexible working with the option to work remotely from home at times. Whilst your base will be North Yorkshire House in Scarborough, you may at times, be required to work from other bases across the county, for example Selby.
North Yorkshire County Council have a national reputation for excellence and we are looking for a Social Worker with a variety of experience and skills to join our Adoption Team. We also welcome those who are looking to relocate. North Yorkshire County Council’s adoption service is part of One Adoption North and Humber, a high performing regional adoption agency.

Working in Adoption is an exciting, challenging, unique and rewarding job. It is a role, which gives Social Workers the opportunity to operate within a range of contexts, for example, undertaking an assessment of prospective adopters, providing adoption support services to children & families, providing preparation training to prospective adoptive parents and being part of a professional team to support the matching and placing of children.
