We are developing and expanding our Workforce service and the Social Worker - Practice Improvement role will contribute to creating the conditions for children’s social care practice to thrive and take a lead role for practice development and improvement.

Your Role

We are seeking a Social Worker - Practice Improvement who is a registered qualified Social Worker.

 

In this role within North East Lincolnshire Council’s Children’s Services, you will be part of the Workforce service that is passionate about quality assurance and practice improvement across Children’s Services, with a specific focus on children’s social care practice.

 

You will take a lead role in implementing and developing  our case audit programme carried out by supervisors and managers across Children’s Services.  You will take forward learning outcomes from auditing in collaboration with the Workforce service taking forward innovative approaches.

 

Your value base will strongly reflect  that the views and experiences of children, young people and families are central to planning, delivering and improving our services.  

  

You will be part of the Workforce service whose work is highly valued and set within a team of relational and  knowledgeable leaders.  We would welcome applications from individuals who are relational, solution focused and ambitious for themselves and the wider workforce with the ultimate focus on supporting, developing and improving practice for our children, young people and families.
