This is an exciting time to join Barnsley Children and Family Social Care Service who are seeking to recruit a Team Manager with specific responsibility for Quality Assurance and Improvement. You will work as part of a small team leading and driving our quality assurance annual programme. There has been significant investment in children’s services in Barnsley, with a real focus on supporting our teams and social workers to deliver the best outcomes for children, young people and their families.
Key responsibilities in this role:
· Develop and drive delivery of our Quality Assurance Framework, tools and support offer
· Undertake data analysis through the lens of a social work practitioner which informs and identifies key lines of further enquiry and supports assurance mechanisms about the quality of practice
· Lead and contribute to projects and initiatives designed to support continuous service improvement and practice development
· Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance Team
A recognised Social Work qualification and significant post qualification experience is required. We are committed to the support and development of our social workers. You will receive regular supervision, appraisal, training, and development opportunities, all aimed at promoting outcomes for children and supporting your career development and progression.
