Job description

 

This is an exciting time to join Barnsley Children and Family Social Care Service who are seeking to recruit a none case holding part time (18.5hrs) Advanced Practitioner with specific responsibilities around Quality Assurance and Improvement.  In this role you will work as part of a small team supporting a whole range of targeted quality assurance activities.  There has been significant investment into children’s services in Barnsley, with a real focus on supporting our teams and social workers to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.

 

Key expectations in this role will include:

 

·            Supporting the development and implementation of a quality assurance framework, auditing tools and support, facilitating a range of quality assurance activities including case file auditing and themed deep dives

·            Reporting on findings and key messages and supporting continuous service development and improvement work.  An understanding of quality assurance and improvement methodologies is desirable and most importantly you will be passionate about making a valuable contribution to achieving the very best outcomes for children and families.

·            Sharing learning from quality assurance and working with colleagues to support learning and development and drive best practice

 

A recognised Social Work qualification and significant post qualification experience is required.
