Great progress has already been made with our Children and Families Service innovative improvement programme and we are committed to investing in our priorities so the Service Manager has a strong platform to drive the required expansion of the service, deliver improved outcomes for children and young people, and deliver excellent support to children and families. With this in mind, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding Service Manager for fieldwork services, who possesses strategic and operational leadership skills and experience to support the Senior Fieldwork Managers and team members to deliver and drive service quality forward, so that together we make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in Sheffield.
You need to be social work qualified and registered with Social Work England and have extensive experience of direct work with children and young people particularly in this area of specialism. You will have a thorough knowledge of relevant legislation including up-to-date knowledge of statutory frameworks, regulations, policies and procedures. You will be creative and motivated to support service expansion and improvement.

You will be joining a dynamic senior management team and working closely with other frontline services such as fieldwork services, residential services and strategic contracts.
