1 x Part time and 2 x full time vacancies
This is an exciting time to join Barnsley Children’s Service as we’re a council that prioritises Children’s Services, and we want every child in the borough to achieve their full potential, to be safe and happy. Because we highly value the work of our Social Workers, we’ve approved significant additional investment, creating more posts to support Social Workers in the valuable work that they do. Additionally, we have increased the management support to Social Workers at both Team Manager and Advanced Practitioner level. In the Assessment service, we have expanded our teams from 3 to 4, which reflects our commitment to support and develop our workforce; creating smaller teams where social work practice can flourish.
As part of this expansion, we are now looking to recruit two full time and one half-time highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed professional social workers to join our stable workforce. Could that be you?
