The role of practice supervisor is integral to the delivery of high-quality practice to achieve the best outcomes for our children and families.

We are looking for an experienced social worker who is ready to take the next step in their professional career. Within this role you will be responsible for the supervision and day to day support of a small team of social workers who are working with children under a child in need, child protection plan or looked after children. You would be working closely with partners such as education and health to ensure that children and their families have the right support.
The Children with a Disability Service works with children who have complex needs and often require a package of support. A Practice Supervisor within this service would need to be creative and understand the complexities of working with children and their families where a child as a disability.
We recognise the need to support our practitioners in order to develop and enhance their skills and experience, you will be expected to share your expertise, provide leadership and direction to your staff which in turn will enable them to provide exceptional services to our children, young people and their families.

You must hold a Social Work England (SWE) recognised Social Work Qualification and be registered with SWE.
