Area Manager for Fostering.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking an innovative individual, skilled in inclusive leadership to join our rated GOOD Ofsted; Children & Families Services team.

As an Area Manager you will lead your teams based in Beverley. The teams are motivated to recruit and retain our Foster Carers.

The successful candidate will be a qualified registered social worker and will join a dedicated team of managers who are responsible for the delivery of statutory fostering services to our children and young people.

You must demonstrate a good understanding of fostering regulations and have experience of managing teams through change and innovation.

As Area Manager you will be required to analyse data, monitor quality assurance and report to our Senior Leadership Team.

This role requires someone dynamic, creative and has excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently, be a motivational leader and encourage individuality whilst delivering our organisational goals.

Our Fostering teams recruit and support our mainstream foster carers and connected carers to deliver an excellent level of care with our children and young people.

We understand the importance of equipping you with the tools to build meaningful relationships and make lasting changes to those we work with and who need us most.

We support our social worker colleagues to deliver fantastic social work and champion social worker wellbeing with a strong focus on learning and development through our Stronger Together approach.
