We are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Teacher of Children with Vision Impairment, to join our small, highly committed team on a casual basis.

Experience and skills in assessing the functional vision of young people with a vision impairment and contribution to Education, Health and Care assessment and EHCP review are essential.

The post will involve peripatetic work within local authority schools, liaison with parents, health professionals and other agencies, and working closely with other specialist staff within the team.

The post holder will provide mentoring and oversight of teachers in training for the mandatory qualification, where required.
