Service Manager – Learning and Quality Assurance

This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to be a part of establishing a new organisation, instigate change and make a real, tangible difference.

 

This is an exciting time to join BCFT, as we continue on our improvement journey, focussing on a relational approach and embedding restorative practice across the Trust. We are fully committed to achieving our goals, with Learning and Quality Assurance being central to enabling this.

 

Salary: £56,595 - £60,303

 

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week 

 

Base: Sir Henry Mitchell House / Margaret McMillan House

 

Holidays: Annual Leave starts at 31 days and rises to max of 34 days with service. (plus, public holidays).

About the Role

 

·       To lead and develop high quality training programmes for practice within the Trust to support the delivery of a good service for our children and families in Bradford.

·       To lead and create a culture of continuous learning and development.

·       To lead on the review and evaluation of the effectiveness of learning and development for all practice roles within the Trust.

·       To oversee and support the work of the quality assurance team to understand service delivery and standards of practice. This include evaluating and analysing themes from quality assurance activity from across the services.

·       To support the service to apply learning from quality assurance activity to enable continuous service improvement.

·       To have a clear focus on support and retention for practitioners from students on social work placements through to experienced staff who are seeking new opportunities and progression.

 

About You

 

A qualified Social Worker with strong interpersonal skills, experienced and expert in managing the delivery of quality outcomes for children and young people.  We need a courageous leader who puts the child/ young person at the heart of every decision. Someone who enthusiastically embraces change, thrives on challenge and tackles the most complex needs with drive and determination to ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people of Bradford.
