Following the ‘Reclaiming Front Line Practice’ review of children's social care in the Children and Family Services Directorate, a number of Social Worker vacancies have become available, working within either, Access and Assessment, Localities, Disability or Looked After Children service.
We are looking for:
- Candidates with a strong child-centred value base that informs your work with children, young people and families;
- a relentless commitment to quality - and to be able to talk about what good practice 'looks like' for children, young people and families;
- a capacity for honest reflection and openness to learning;
- an ability to build relationships and communicate with children and families.
*Successful applicants who are newly qualified will undertake their first year in employment on Grade 7 during the Assessed & Supported Year before moving to Grade 8.
