As one of two Locality Service Managers you will have responsibility for 4 geographically based teams in the central area of the Borough and also the Children with Disability service, providing leadership, direction, and support – you will report to the head of service for Locality Social Work.

You will oversee the work of the teams which includes supporting Children in Need, Child Protection Planning / Care Proceedings, and our Children with Disability service. As a Service Manager you’ll be instrumental in shaping the development of your service area. So, we need an individual who can lead from the front and promote our vision / values through our established Rotherham Family approach. A ‘can do’ dynamic approach will be required to enable you to drive forward new initiatives with great passion, dedication, and conviction.
