We currently have a vacancy within the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Team for a Senior Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator. The role involves management of the assessment and review process for children and young people with SEND, and supporting/advising parents/carers, providers and agencies regarding the Education, Health and Care needs assessment process. This role also involves providing supervision and support to EHCP Coordinators within the team.
The successful candidate will have substantial proven ability in an Education/Health Care Service role or similar role supporting vulnerable children and young people with SEND. You will also have extensive working knowledge, adherence to and application of SEND legislation including the Education Act (1996), the Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 0-25 and Care Act 2014 as well as significant experience of working with families, children and young people with complex SEND.
