The role you would be coming to do
To be responsible for the provision of statutory social work and delivery of a range of services for children and young people who are in care and leaving care, improving outcomes through the strategic leadership and operational delivery.
Ensuring that the service achieves good outcomes for children in care and leaving care supporting permanence at the earliest opportunity; ensuring stability of placements and developing independence skills for adulthood.
Create and build effective relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders to support collaboration with others.
The person we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has operational leadership, direction and service expertise developing and leading a child in care and leaving care service that meets statutory requirements. Lead and motivate staff effectively in order to deliver excellence and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people, including promoting high quality supervision of both staff and case work.
Recognised Social Work Qualification
Registration with Social Work England
