Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Barnsley Children’s Social Care and have a key role in shaping and developing social work practice. We are looking for enthusiastic, committed social workers to work alongside the Practice Development Manager and Principle Social Worker to support and deliver our continuous professional development and training offer for children’s social workers.

In this role you will:

  • Support student placements for Children's Social Care in Barnsley

  • Alongside team managers, provide supervision, support and guidance to Newly Qualified social workers in their Assessed Support Year in practice

  • Develop and deliver training and support learning across Children’s Social Care
