This It is an exciting time to join our diverse and highly regarded team here at North Yorkshire Council to lead and develop the service within this critical and varied role
You will be responsible for five key areas, which are school organisation, school place planning, schools’ capital, admissions and home to school transport
Develop policies and strategies across a number of provisions and have experience of developing these as well as experience of strategic planning, policy development and implementation, and performance management
Support and promote strong results with customer focused performance culture ensuring that they will be cost effective, efficient, high-quality services in line with identified needs as well as maximise efficiency and effectiveness across the service
Offer leadership, management and direction to staff of the service prioritising staffing and maintaining service objectives
Be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external services building established professional partnerships
To be committed to safeguarding and promote the welfare of children, young people and adults, raising concerns as appropriate
