We currently have a vacancy within the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Team for an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Coordinator. The role involves management of the assessment and review process for children and young people with SEND, and supporting/advising parents/carers, providers and agencies regarding the Education, Health and Care needs assessment process.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with families, children and young people with SEND, as well as experience of writing person centred plans. You will also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of national legislation and local policies and procedures/processes in relation to the 0 – 25 Special Educational Needs Code of Practice, Participation of Young People in Education, Employment or Training, Continuing Health Care, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberties and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults.
