About Us

Bradford Children and Families Trust was established in April 2023 to enhance the quality and delivery of Children’s Services across our district. Our purpose is clear, to ensure that our promise to improve the lives of children and young people in Bradford becomes a reality. It’s a tough ask. It requires dedication, determination, and resilience – but under a new Chief Executive, Senior Leadership team and an unswerving drive to deliver the best outcomes, we are confident that we’ll achieve our ambition – and you, yours.

So, if you’re up for the Challenge we’d love to hear from you!

About The Role

The Integrated Front Door Service for Bradford Children’s Services are recruiting Team Manager Posts,

Our Integrated Front Door is responsible for the Social Care and Early Help Screening functions for the district as well as the Multi-Agency Screening Hub (MASH). These functions offer a single point of access for all contacts/referrals where there are concerns about a child or young person’s safety or wellbeing in line with statutory and local guidance or when advice is needed about support functions.  The Service has a strong ethos of the ‘right support at the right time’ and follows a conversational model.

The role of the Team Manager is critical to ensuring good outcomes for children, young people and their families. Therefore, we are interested in hearing from individuals who have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, preferably with experience of working in a MASH environment. You will need to demonstrate excellent leadership skills and understand how good performance equates to good outcomes for children and young people. You will manage a team that includes a Practice Supervisor and qualified social workers.

As the initial point of contact for Children’s Services the Integrated Front Door is a busy and fast paced environment and therefore you will need to demonstrate resilience an ability to ‘think on your feet’ and manage complex situations.

The successful candidate will have 3 years of child protection experience as well as at least 3 years of Child protection management experience, with a good knowledge of legislation, statutory requirements, able to work at a fast pace in a friendly team. The role is hybrid and successful candidates will be required to attend the office 2 days a week minimum.
