Due to the retirement of the current post holder a vacancy has arisen for the Head of Quality of Practice. Our Quality of Practice Framework is key in enabling our understanding of our work and driving practice which is strengths based, relational and focused on ensuring children and their families receive the right help at the right time.
The role includes responsibility for the Independent Reviewing Service, workforce development, Principal Social Worker, LADO and Safeguarding Business Manager therefore the ability to influence and impact across the service.
This role is suitable as a job sharing position.
Relocation expenses, in accordance with the City of York Council’s Relocation Policy, may be available for the successful candidate subject to meeting the relevant criteria.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
