An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the DMBC’s semi-supported accommodation provision for 16/17-year-olds in Doncaster.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to support our young people on their road to independence.
The post of Support Worker will be for 37 hours per week covering a Rota that will include covering mornings, afternoons, weekends, bank holidays, as well as a sleep-in duty.
The worker must be highly motivated & willing to have some flexibility to cover extra shifts
The applicant will need:
To have experience of working with young people, children in care and care leavers.
To be a supportive and inspirational member of the support team.
Some experience of therapeutic approaches and a willingness to develop the use of these in the care provided within the home.
To be an innovative and creative thinker who looks for opportunities to improve the offer to children and young people
You will embody the values of the DMBC and be committed to providing the best care possible for are leavers as a corporate parent.
